Class Description:

You know what's cool about pop-up cards? Everything! They're fun to make and everyone loves receiving them.  They are the ultimate card trick and thanks to Karen Burniston's background in engineering, you won't be taxed with any tricky measuring or geometry.  Instead, you'll use Pop It Ups dies, designed by Karen for Elizabeth Craft Designs. These wafer-thin dies made in the USA, can be used in most die cutting machines and you'll get from paper to pop-up in 30 seconds, allowing plenty of time for the fun stuff....decorating!  Plus, the decorator dies come included in each die set! How's that for easy? In this class you'll make four interactive cards in a variety of all-purpose themes, using dies from each general "category" of card:  Pivot Card, General Pop-up, Pull Card and Accordion Album, plus a Character die.  You'll learn all the tips and tricks for creating dynamic interactive cards that are sure to impress.

Please bring these basic supplies: Scissors, tape runner, fine line glue (I recommend a Fineline 20 gauge applicator bottle filled with Scotch Quick-Dry  Adhesive), strong 0.25" red-liner tacky tape, mini-glue dots, pop-dots and a paper piercer.  Detail scissors and tweezers can be helpful.  A brayer is very helpful for pressing down the frame edges.  If you like the look of inked edges, you will need to bring your own inks and blending tools.
