New Class

Leigh Ann has a wonderful new class for August - Decorative Easels. These 7x7 inch decorative easels add a pop of color, pattern and a positive message. Decorative paper, ribbon, and die cut flowers are mounted on bevel edged matte board with an adhesive easel flap on the back. They make a great inexpensive gift for the home or office.

Students will make their choice of one of the easel cards. Please let us know which one you prefer when you register for the class.

Class is scheduled for Saturday, August 17 at 9:30am and the class fee is only $10! You need to bring your Basic Class Kit, some white glue (Tombow Mono Multi, Elmer’s, etc.) and some foam adhesive or Pop Dots.

We also wanted to let you know that we will be closed July 3, 4, & 5, but will open with a bang on Saturday, July 6 at 10am with our Annual Christmas in July Make ‘n’ Takes! We will be doing 2 different Make ‘n’ Takes each Saturday during the month, from 10:30am - 1:30pm. The fee for each Make ‘n’ Take is $3, and all you need to bring is yourself and the $3 fee (cash only). Join us for some Christmas card inspiration!

Christmas in July and September Used Stamp Sale

Mark your calendars - Christmas in July is just around the corner! We will be doing 2 different Make ‘n’ Takes each Saturday during the month, from 10:30am - 1:30pm. Each Make ‘n’ Take will be $3, and all you need to bring is yourself and the $3 fee (cash only). Join us for some Christmas card inspiration!

The votes are in and we have listened - there will be another Used Stamp Sale on Saturday, September 21 from 10am - 3pm. Everything will work the same way as the one in May:

You will need to bring your own table (we have some 3’ x 6’ tables for rent for use on the porch), chairs, money for change, bags, and any other supplies you might need. We feel this will give you the bargaining power which can be very beneficial for selling your items. Aside from the rental fee for the space, any money you make at the sale is yours to keep – Stamper’s Alley does not take a portion of the sales.

We have 9 spaces available on the porch, and 16 in the parking lot. We can’t take up all of the parking lot with tables because we have to leave somewhere for the shoppers to park.

Space rental fees:

  • 10’ wide space on the porch - $25 (space only)
  • 10’ wide space on the porch plus one 3’ x 6’ folding table - $30
  • 9’ wide space (basically the size of a parking space) in the parking lot - $20. (You must furnish your table and/or tent)

In the case of inclement weather, the sale will be held the following Saturday, September 28. Items for sale must be limited to craft items only – stamps, inks, punches, dies, paper, etc. – no household items allowed. You are not required to stay until the sale is over, it is entirely up to you how long you stay – but remember there may be some bargain hunters at the last minute and you have the option to offer lower prices on your goods, and maybe make a few more sales!

As always, we will be doing lots of advertising for this sale. Space is limited, so please do not wait until the last minute to reserve your spot. The space rental fee must be paid at the time the reservation is made, no exceptions. We will accept reservations through September 14. No refunds will be issued after September 14, unless we rent that space to someone else before the deadline.

If you feel that you don’t have enough inventory to make it worth setting up a table, why not get together with some friends and share a space?

We also have some spots left in the Tissue Box class next Saturday, June 29 at 9:30am. The class fee is only$15 and you need to bring your Basic Class Kit and some 1/4” and 1/2” Scor-Tape.
