A New Class and Some Used Stamp Sale Info

Just a little info for you about the upcoming Used Stamp Sale.

  • Vendors – Park behind Stamper’s Alley, in a double row and if more room is needed please park as far back into the parking lot on the Bec-Car side as possible, and even over on the grassy side of the lot. We will need the front parking for the shoppers and hope to have walking room blocked off with orange traffic cones.
Remember to bring small bills and coins for change.
  • Shoppers – Please be courteous and leave safe walking room for everyone. There should be plenty of room for everyone to park.
Please remember that this is a cash only sale, so come prepared with small bills and coins. If you could bring a tote bag or some sort of bag to carry your purchases to your car, that would be very helpful.

There will be Make ‘n’ Takes, door prizes, and lots of items on sale in the store, too. AND we will also be giving DOUBLE STAMPS on your Frequent Buyer Card on Saturday! Whatever your purchase amount is (before tax) we will give you twice that many stamps on your Frequent Buyer Card! ($25 = $50, $50 = $100, etc.)

We are putting together a Care Package of stamping supplies for the victims of the Boston Bombing and we need your help. The package will include items for making cards – card stock, stamps, ink pads, adhesive, embellishments, envelopes, etc. We feel that this will give them the supplies they need to send cards to family, friends, medical professionals, first responders, etc. Anything you can donate will be greatly appreciated. Just bring your donations to Stamper’s Alley.

Now for the new class! Leigh Ann has put together another wonderful class using the Basic Grey Knee Highs 6 x 6 paper pad.

Due to overwhelming popularity, this is a “sweet repeat” of our class from April 27th. Create 4 very different bright and pastel feminine cards, each inspired by one paper pack and one Spellbinders Nestabilities die used in 4 different ways.  They are suitable for any special occasion. The class fee is $20, and includes a 6 x 6 Basic Grey “Knee Highs” paper pad.

The class is scheduled for Saturday, May 18 at 9:30 and and students need to bring your Basic Class Kit that includes a small paper cutter, small pointy scissors, regular adhesive, and foam adhesive or pop dots.

This class will probably fill up quickly, so don’t wait too long – sign up and pay for your spot soon so you don’t miss out!

New Memory Box Dies and BoBunny Paper!

First we want to remind everyone about the Annual Used Stamp Sale coming up next Saturday, May 4, 10am – 3pm. All of the spaces have been sold, so it promises to be a really good sale. Since we are using the parking spaces closest to the building as well as the ones down the left side (as seen from the street), please park around the side of Bec-Car or out by the grass, in order to leave room for shoppers to walk safely. Also, shoppers, if you could bring a tote bag, or some sort of bag, to carry your purchases in, I’m sure the sellers would appreciate it very much. Remember, it is a cash only sale, so please come prepared with small bills (nothing larger than a $20 is a good idea) and even some coins. Just a reminder for the sellers - Items for sale must be limited to craft items only – stamps, inks, punches, dies, paper, etc. – no household items are allowed. In case of inclement weather, the sale will be held the following Saturday, May 11, but we are crossing our fingers that the day will be sunny and warm.

There will be Make-n-Takes inside the store starting at 10am and running until 3:30pm, so everyone can shop a little, take a break and make a card, and go back to shopping! Lots of items will be on sale and there will, of course, be DOOR PRIZES!Also, we have some 2013 Memory Box catalogs to give away to anyone who brings us a card (to keep and display) made with a Memory Box die (Catalogs available while supplies last).

We have two oldie but goodie companies that we haven't talked about much lately - Stampendous and Art Impressions.
Both companies have their own unique designs and lots of new images. They are so wonderful to work with and have a little less than a 10 working day turnaround on orders. We have new catalogs for both companies. Please ask to see these catalogs on your next visit, and as a token of my appreciation if you place an order and pre-pay, you will receive a 20% discount on your order!
We hope to see you soon!
