New classes

Dani is offering a class featuring a boxed set of cards featuring some beautiful Hero Arts stamps. Make 3 gender neutral cards from one Hero Arts stamp set along with a handy box to present as the perfect gift!  You will leave class with all projects complete along with the instructions and dimensions for recreating the box!

The class is scheduled for Saturday, August 18 @ 9:30am and the class fee is $18.

Donna Silliman has rescheduled the More Glitter Ritz class and added a new class featuring Impression Obsession stamps. You will make 4 cards in class but we only have photos of three of them. The 4th one is a surprise!

This class is scheduled for Saturday, August 25 at 1:30, following the More Glitter Ritz class, which is scheduled for 9:30am.

From Hero Arts -

We received some Aubergine, Grass, Cerulean and Pool Layering Papers, too, and the Green Hills and Cup O’Joe Mid-Tone inks from Hero Arts are back in stock.

Just one more thing….the Action Wobble Springs are back! They are the perfect way to add just a little animation and action to your cards. They stay flat for mailing and spring into action (no pun intended) when the card comes out of the envelope. They would be great on scrapbook pages, too. At 35¢ each or 10 for $2.50 they are an inexpensive way to jazz up your projects.

Saturday is Free Make ‘n’ Take Day

That’s right, we are having another free Make ‘n’ Take this Saturday, July 14, starting at 10:30am and running until 1:30pm. No need to bring anything but yourself!

See you there!

This just in…

Sizzix Framelits dies! They are similar to Spellbinders dies but they do not emboss, they only cut. The cutting edge is at the edge of the center of the die, making placement over stamped images a breeze! These are the same type of dies that come in the Hero Arts stamp and die sets.

Eight different shapes, from circles to fancy labels. Check them out -

We also have the Metal Adaptor Plate from Memory Box, which enables you to get a cleaner cut on their more intricate dies using whatever die cutting machine you have.

Metal Adaptor Plate approximate size is 5.5" x 8". Use this plate to shim your intricate low-profile, wafer-thin dies. This special stainless steel plate helps support the cutting action and results in better cuts.

These plates may become marked and even dented, but will still continue to be a great tool for easy and precise cutting.

Here’s a link to a video by Dave with more information on how to get better cuts with your intricate dies.

Paper Sale

The Paper Sale on July 21 has been cancelled until further notice. We do want to remind you that there is the StampScrapArtTour Convention in Winston-Salem that weekend. The local conventions certainly need your support, so check out their website and take the short ride up to W-S – you might find just what you have been looking for!

New Hero Arts and Elizabeth Crafts

We got in a lovely box of goodies from Hero Arts today!

I won’t list them all but here are just a few of the new ones:

We also have LOTS of new Glitter Ritz colors and some new stickers from Elizabeth Crafts. High Heels, Cupcakes, Teapots, some really pretty borders and lines – stop in and see them all! There is still time to sign up for Donna’s Glitter Ritz class this Saturday, too! This may be the last class using the Glitter Ritz and Copic markers, so if you haven’t had a chance to do that technique yet don’t let this opportunity get away.
