Stamper’s Alley 13th Annual Used Stamp Sale!

We have had lots of calls and emails asking if we will be having the sale this year and the answer is YES! The date for this years sale is Saturday, May 5 - 10am - 4pm.

So now is the time to start thinking about clearing out what you no longer need - stamps, tools, etc. - and make a little extra cash. Or just come and score some fantastic bargains.

If you would like to participate by selling your items, you may come in to the shop and sign up or give us a call - 704-664-5068. We need to have the initials that you plan to use on your items, so we can check it against the list of people that have already signed up. We can't allow duplicates because this is how we keep track of who sold what. All of the information about the sale is in our instruction sheet, which can be downloaded here. Please read it carefully. The inventory sheets are available for download here.

We will no longer be providing the stickers used to label your items. Your labels need to be no smaller than 1/2" x 1" and no larger than 1" x 1", so as not to cover up too much of the image on the front of the stamps. Be sure your labels are securely attached, but also keep in mind that the person who purchases the item will want to be able to remove the sticker. Items without stickers cannot be sold and will be held for pick up after the sale. See the instruction sheet for more information.

We also ask you to bring your own bags to carry your purchases home, if you can. The reusable bags from the grocery stores are inexpensive and sturdy, perfect for carrying all of your treasures. They are environmentally friendly and can be used again and again.

You can sign up anytime, and you may start bringing your items in on April 21, but no sooner. All items for sale MUST be here no later than May 4. There are no exceptions for either of these dates. After the sale, you will be able to pick up your monies and any items that have not been sold starting May 8 through May 11 (we will have extended hours that week only) and ALL items must be picked up by May 11 because we have classes all day on May 12 and do not have anywhere else to store the items. Stamper’s Alley WILL NOT be responsible for any stamps missing after the sale. If you can’t pick up your items on those dates, PLEASE make arrangements for someone else to pick them up – we do not have room to store these items.

There will be demos, door prizes, and snacks, so it promises to be a fun day! This is a very well attended event and we want everyone to have a pleasant experience. We do ask, if at all possible, please do not bring small children.
