Spellbinders Workshop

If you wanted to sign up for the Spellbinders Workshop on Saturday, November 6 and the class was full, we have good news! We have one spot left in the class this Saturday, and there is another class scheduled for Saturday, November 20 at 9am and seats are available! It will probably fill up pretty quickly, so call (704-664-5068) or stop in soon and reserve your seat. Remember, to assure your seat in class, you must pay your class fee when you sign up, or at least give us a credit card number to hold for you. We do require 72 hour notice for cancellation in order to refund your fee. That gives us enough time to try and fill your spot in the class. For more information, please see the Class Schedule page on the website. Class Policies are at the bottom of the page.

Bio: My name is Janine Blackwelder and I live in central North Carolina with my husband, Hal and our son, Brandon. I love all things related to paper crafting and enjoy sharing my expertise with other paper crafters. I love to spend time with my friends, stamping and scrapping. We take road trips looking for unique stores, and products not found at our local stores and then have fun creating special designs or cards, scrapbook pages, home decor, gift items and more.

I started rubber stamping in 1995, added scrapbooking in 1996 and have been hooked ever since. For 9 years, I owned and operated a scrapbooking and rubber stamping store in Greensboro, NC. called Memories in the Making. Since then, I've been on a number of design teams including Spellbinders Paper Arts 2009-2010, Mosaic Moments, Elemental Doodles, and Clearly Clever. Currently I design for Just For Fun rubber stamps and McGill, Inc.

Students are to Bring: Your favorite adhesive, scissors, and personal die cutting machine (Wizard, Cuttlebug, or Big Shot) along with platforms, cutting plates and tan embossing mats, Spellbinders die templates and Cuttlebug embossing folders. If you are able to bring fresh (uncut) cutting plates that will be very helpful, as I will discuss proper sandwiching for each machine.
