Spellbinders Workshop

We have a very special guest coming to teach at Stamper’s Alley in November – Janine Blackwelder.

SPELLBINDERS WORKSHOP

Saturday, November 4th
9am – 4pm (with a break for lunch)
$45 (includes a Spellbinders Impressability)

Instructor: Janine Blackwelder

Join Janine 2009-2010 Spellbinders Design Team member for a technique filled day featuring Spellbinders die templates and Impressabilities.  All techniques can be used with any personal die cutting machine. Some of the techniques covered will include Cutting, Stenciling, Reverse Stenciling, Embossing and Letterpress. Janine will also cover tips for organizing and cataloging your inventory, and will have many of her projects as a design team member for Spellbinders on display. Seating is limited, please register early!

Please bring your favorite adhesive, scissors, and personal die cutting machine (Wizard, Cuttlebug, or Big Shot) along with platforms, cutting plates, and tan embossing mats, Spellbinders die templates and Cuttlebug embossing folders. If you are able to bring fresh (uncut) cutting plates that will be very helpful, as I will discuss proper sandwiching for each machine.

Bio: My name is Janine Blackwelder and I live in central North Carolina with my husband, Hal and our son, Brandon.
I love all things related to paper crafting and enjoy sharing my expertise with other paper crafters. I love to spend time with my friends, stamping and scrapping. We take road trips looking for unique stores and products not found at our local stores, and then have fun creating special designs or cards, scrapbook pages, home decor, gift items and more.

I started rubber stamping in 1995, added scrapbooking in 1996 and have been hooked ever since. For 9 years, I owned and operated a scrapbooking and rubber stamping store in Greensboro, NC. called Memories in the Making. Since then, I've been on a number of design teams including Spellbinders Paper Arts 2009-2010, Mosaic Moments, Elemental Doodles, and Clearly Clever.  Currently I design for Just For Fun rubber stamps and McGill, Inc.
